Let's talk yoga!

We always want to know(or at least at those times when we actually think😃about ourselves),what is the mission of my life?
Why I actually exist?

I know its a bit philosophical šŸ˜…but yes there are sometimes when our thoughts make us dive inside and not exactly the same questions, but yes we feel somewhat like this and get back to work the next day!šŸ˜‡
Yes that is also necessary to work and work to know that our basic needs like food ,shelter etc, have been taken care of .
Yogic science is the answer for all our philosophical or say the solutions for the questions that arouse in journey of our self Discovery!!
Whenever we hear the word yoga our mind give the pictures of people in different "poses" 🤸‍♀🧘‍♂️🤸‍♂.
Sometimes these poses seem really simple but when we try them, we get confused🤪. Sometimes poses appears like so "twisted" that our mind says even if we manage to get into this pose how are we going to undo the pose😱😳😵.
Direction and guidance by yoga instructors can help us get our postures correct. But,"yoga" is just not getting the posters correctly, it is beyond and far beyond than what we think !!šŸ˜‡
Yoga is a journey towards "Self Discovery".

Ashtanga yoga is the main learning from yogic scriptures!
(*Asht meaning Eight(8),  ang means limbs or part. )
Before getting into any knowledge we want to learn, it's always better to know the history behind the knowledge.šŸ˜‡šŸ¢šŸ‡.

No ,no I am not here to give you history lectures😃.

But,it might be interesting if this history reveals the story of "Adiyogi".
Adiyogi,Lord Shankar or Shiva, (Lord who takes care of the journey of death or helps in destruction of problems or bad over good).
Lord shiva who presented "Mrityunjaya Mantra" to Rishi markandeya. Shiva has given "Sanjivani Vidya" to Shukracharya.
Lord shiva who has all the Mystic powers. This shiva, The mystic Adiyogi when needed to help the Goddess "Parvati ",who is his betterhalf, when all her memories were lost due to "Apasmar" ( A mental disorder related to memory loss),became her Guru named Adiyogi and taught her "Ashtanga yoga" and ask her to follow through all the 8 steps , and then only Parvati could get into the stage of her "Samadhi" (the last step in ashtanga yoga),to gain her powers as "Adishakti'.
Moral of the above story is that :- We all have potential in our lives, the only thing is to reach up to a highest potential of ourselves. And for that we need to follow Ashtanga Yoga.Adiyogi has bestowed this knowledge to all of us through Goddess Parvati.
We all should have gratitude for this knowledge, as being a mystic, Adiyogi could have given the knowledge to Goddesss Parvati using his Mystical powers, but he chose not to. As Adiyogi wanted us to know that the journey of life is one's own "Treasure Hunt " and that we alone are the solutions for our own lives.
Meet you all in our next article with all the steps in Ashtanga Yoga till then happy learning!
